Potter's Wheel Foundation Course
Hone your skills on the potter's wheel by mastering fundamental techniques like wedging, centering, pulling and trimming while throwing and altering basic shapes. A comprehensive preparatory course for advanced training. It is also a great refresher for those out of practice.
Note: It would help to be comfortable with basic skills of centering & pulling a cylinder. Registrations will be on first come first served basis as we can accommodate a maximum number of 8 students per batch.
Weekend Programme: Sunday Batch
Timings : 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Start Date : September 8th
Program Fee : Rs. 5800.00
Session Dates : September 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, October 6th, 13th, 20th, November 3rd.
(Practice sessions for the above from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM after class)
Day 1: Wedging and Centering
Day 2: Cylinder
Day 3: Blindfold throwing
Day 4: Bottle forms
Day 5: Pitcher form
Day 6: Bowls
Day 7: Trimming and Finishing
Day 8: Open Session
Please Note: Minimum 3 registrations are required to start a batch. There are no alternate sessions provided if a class is missed. If the mentor/class as a group decides to cancel a session, due to festivals & other public holidays, an alternate date will be provided.
There will not be any class on 27th October on acount of Diwali.
